Philosophies of Learning/Theories of Learning

Encompasses multiple theories relevant to all aspects of teaching. 

Cooperative Learning

"An instructional technology strategy that emphasizes the importance of positive social interactions among students working in small groups on a given task or assignment related to a unit of study" (Loeser, 2019a).

Differentiated Instruction

"A philosophy of teaching that stems from the belief that all students are different" (Loeser, 2019b).

Motivational Theories

The philosophy that considers the role that motivation plays in learning.
