EDUC 3343/EDUC 5000 Adolescent Development: Books for Tweens and Teens!

Reading is....fun?

If you thought getting an elementary student to read was hard, getting a tween or teen interested in reading is a whole other kettle of fish! Choosing a book for a tween is especially hard because the content of books becomes so much more:

INTENSE

GRAPHIC
FANTASTICAL

REALISTIC

The first step to recommend books to middle and high school students is to have a conversation with them about what they have read before, what they like to read, and then give recommendations based on those.

IT IS NOT OUR JOB TO CENSOR WHAT THEY READ!
