In May 2000, the popular periodical Book Links (v.9 no.5) published an article by Mary Northrup titled "Multicultural Cinderella Stories". This excellent article discusses the history and evolution of Cinderella stories across various cultures. Additionally, the article lists Cinderella books by country (e.g. Africa, the Americas, Asia, Europe, and so on...) giving descriptions of each book.
