Chicago, with a score by John Kander and Fred Ebb, and a book by Ebb and Bob Fosse, opened on Broadway in 1975 and ran for more than two years. It was revived in 1996 and is still running; the revival is now the second-longest running musical in Broadway history. The film version won the 2003 Oscar as best movie of the year.
