This guide provides helpful resources for students enrolled in music courses at LaGrange College.

How To Use This Page

Use this page to help guide you in your search for items supporting music history and realted topics. Write down the call number for books you are interested in, and use the book image to help you loacte the item(s) on the shelf.

TIPS: 

  • All music books or books realted to music are located on the top (3rd) floor of Lewis Library.
  • When searching for books in the Stacks, look for call numbers beginning with the letter M.
  • When searching for books in Reference, look for call numbers beginning with REF M.

  • M1 - M5000 = Printed Music (including collection, vocal scores, & more)
  • ML1 - ML3930 = Literature on Music (including composer biographies, music history, & more)
  • MT1 - MT960 = Music Instruction & Study (including music theory, instrument techniques, & more)

The following recommended titles are located on the main(2nd) floor of Lewis Library in the Reference section. These item call numbers all begin with the letters REF, and cannot be checked out of the library.
